obviously since i have not been on here for a while and in Facebook the 12 Sqn site ''events'' i have started a post ref reunion 2012 which will be held in liebenau from the 6-8 July,if i see enough interest on here then i will take it a step further any info
will be on there untill i get feed back from you.for thoes who have attended the last reunions in Liebenau know what iam talking about and thoes who could not well iam sure you have followed the comments on here or heard about it.anyhow lads like i said for know have a gannder and let me know what you think.

the dates what we wanted was for schutzenfest but as mentioned the dates what we can have are the, 24-26th.05. 2012.question is gents a reunion on thoes dates or in July 2013 when we have 35fth anerversary of the closing down of the camp.and take part in the schutzenfest.please let us know what you think.

welcome to the waggoners sir the home of perverts- doggy lovers-marmite lovers-and other naughty habits,you might ask your self what the feck has this got to do with the reunion well naff all.as to the reunion well first it would be nice if you let us know which sqn you served in ect as you might still owe some of us a money /booze/ two-'s up on a bit of crumpet.
back to the reunion well 2013 had feed back about the reunion and different times it should take place but most are for it in 2013,it may be that some one in the 12sqn site on face book maybe organising a reunion this year but i cant say much about that as you would have to take a look your self as obviously i dont want to drop my self in the shite saying something wrong.

I sir, paved the way for you youngsters at Leibenau! I first went to A Platoon, 112 Company RASC, Verden in January '61. I left 12 Company RASC, Pinewood Scrubs in about June '65 and went to 24, Field Ambulance (A P) RAMC in Aden. July '67 I went to 65 Squadron RCT Blackdown and finished my Regular time September '69 at Bulford. RAR until '76 then 233 Sqn RCT (V) until '88 (your too old, sling your hook). Moved my desk from my office in the garage to the Cadet hut behind and finished in '04. So much for not wearing the green stuff again after leaving in '69.

I was known as "Cyclops" back in the Deutchland Days.

We were clean living young men back then, only took the odd little drink............. If you mean a proper (with real live pig's) pig farm, no it wasn't there then. But, Manny's was over the wood,s, I finished my 21st evening there after starting in Rocky (Sailor) Hudson's quarters up by the MI Room on Myers rum. Wasn't too clever the next morning, fell in outside A Pln billet for working parade, after the third time of smartly taking three paces forward and throwing up in the hedge, the Pln Sgt (was it Oliver? Can't remember) said "Bridle, F--- off back to bed until NAAFI break". I was bad for day's but it never put me off rum!

well chris sounds like you are another person who loved Liebenau its funny but it doesent matter how many years you stagged on be it 6 or 26 and were stationed all over this god forsaken planet but all thoes who were stationed there will allways remember it as the best posting they had ok some might diagree but they are in the minority (i hope)
since the last reunion there are new members here and in face book and well a reunion is defenly overdue.
